Isoferulic acid (3-Hydroxy-4-methoxycinnamic acid) 是具有抗糖尿病活性的肉桂酸衍生物。Isoferulic acid (3-Hydroxy-4-methoxycinnamic acid) 结合并激活 α1-肾上腺素能受体 (IC₅₀=1.4 μM)，增强 β-内啡肽的分泌 (EC₅₀=52.2 nM) 并增加体外葡萄糖的使用。Isoferulic acid 还具有抗流感病毒的活性。
