The detection principle of this kit is based on the formation of a blue complex between ferrous ion (Fe²⁺) and tripyridyltriazine (TPTZ) under acidic conditions. The resulting product exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 593 nm. By measuring the change in absorbance with a microplate reader, the content of Fe²⁺ in samples such as plant tissues, animal specimens, serum, and cells can be quantitatively determined. This product is intended for research use only and is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
