Daidzin is a potent inhibitor of human ALDH2 (mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase 2) with an IC50 of 80 nM. This chemical is the glucoside of the isoflavone daidzein isolated from soy bean meal (Soja hispada). Daidzin is also a potent inhibitor of human ALDH2 (mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase 2) with an IC50 of 80 nM. 体内研究：

Daidzin (30 mg/kg，灌胃) 可降低禁食大鼠的血液酒精水平 (由 3 g 乙醇/kg 体重诱导)，并缩短由乙醇中毒 (灌胃 7 g/kg) 诱导的睡眠时间。
Daidzin (70 meq/仓鼠/天，腹腔注射) 可抑制仓鼠 62% 的乙醇摄入量。
