DMBA被p450酶氧化产生的代谢物能和DNA共价形成加合物，形成脱嘌呤碱基位点。常用于在动物身上诱导皮肤和乳房瘤，也能诱发白血病和其它瘤。7,12-Dimethylbenz[a]anthracene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. It is used in cancer research. It is a carcinogenic organic pollutant generated from the incomplete combustion of gasoline and coal.;7,12-Dimethylbenz[a]anthracene has been used to induce skin cancer in mice, buccal pouch carcinogenesis in syrian golden hamsters and breast cancer in rats.7,12-Dimethylbenz[a]anthracene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. It is used in cancer research. It is a carcinogenic organic pollutant generated from the incomplete combustion of gasoline and coal.

体内研究：

注意：
请勿仅参考一篇文章来确定实验条件。建议在正式实验前，通过预实验确定最佳实验条件 (动物品系、年龄、剂量、频率及周期、检测时间及指标等)。DMBA 可诱导乳腺癌模型和皮肤癌模型。DMBA (0-150 mg/kg，口服) 导致 C57BL/6 小鼠的脾脏重量减少，从脾脏中回收的淋巴细胞总数减少。DMBA 在 SD 大鼠体内在所有剂量范围内 (5-50 mg) 终末沉积半衰期均为 45 分钟。
