产品描述：

在空气中稳定。溶于乙醇和碱溶液，在乙醚中略溶，1g溶于12ml乙醇、约100ml乙醚，溶于稀碱溶液呈深红色，极微溶于氯仿，不溶于水。最大吸收波长(甲醇中)205、229、276nm(ε27261.147、14692.144、2006.369)。最小致死量(大鼠，腹腔)500mg/kg。有刺激性。;

体内研究：

Phenolphthalein (800 和 2400 mg/kg; i.g.; 每天 1 次持续 26 周，2400 mg/kg; p.o.; 每天通过饮食给药持续 26 周) 对 p53+/- 小鼠具有遗传毒性，导致多染红细胞微核增。
