有水果香。遇三氯化铁呈紫色。溶于乙醚、苯、乙醇、乙酸乙酯、氯仿和丙酮等一般有机溶剂,溶于约35份水。低毒,半数致死量(大鼠,经口)3.98G/kG。有刺激性。水溶性116 g/L (22℃)。;
