The GCS (sGC) serves as a receptor for nitric oxide, which is involved in the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). In prostate cancer cell studies, ODQ induced caspase-3, enhanced cell death, and blocked cell migration. ODQ (2 mg/kg；ip) 减少麻醉大鼠体内由革兰氏阳性或革兰氏阴性菌壁碎片引起的多器官损伤和功能障碍。
