体内研究：

Protodioscin (5 和 10 mg/kg) 显著改善葡萄糖耐受不良并降低血清 UA、BUN、Cr、TC 和 TG 的水平。Protodioscin 通过抑制核因子-κB、c-Jun N-末端激酶、p38 丝裂原活化蛋白激酶和细胞外信号调节激酶的激活，显著降低 IL-1β、IL-6 和 TNF-α 的肾脏浓度。
Protodioscin 改善大鼠死亡率，抑制神经功能缺损评分和梗塞体积的增加，并减少 MCAO 诱导的大鼠神经细胞凋亡。Protodioscin 减弱相关凋亡素的变化，抑制血清中促炎细胞因子的释放，并逆转 MCAO 诱导的大鼠 NF-κB (细胞核和细胞质) 和 IκBα (细胞质) 的蛋白表达。
与高脂肪饮食控制大鼠相比，Protodioscin (0.5 mg/kg，ip) 使凝血时间增加约 50%。Protodioscin 具有降低血液中两种脂蛋白水平的良好效果，尤其是低密度脂蛋白，从而导致高密度脂蛋白/低密度脂蛋白比值号。
