十六烷基三甲基溴化铵已被用于： · 制备金纳米棒 · 作为μgi反应的添加剂 · 作为表面活性剂 · 用于肠组织匀浆处理以获得髓过氧化物酶活性用途：溴化十六烷基三甲铵已：用作磷酸钠缓冲液中匀浆组织的组分，以测定髓过氧化物酶的活性用于通过表面等离子共振合成金纳米棒，以便进行对比研究用于合成金纳米棒，以研究优质溴化十六烷基三甲铵（CTAB）和含碘杂质的CTAB对合成的影响

体内研究：

Cetrimonium bromide (5 mg/kg，腹腔注射，一天一次，连续 5 天) 可减弱 FaDu 细胞荷瘤小鼠的成瘤能力，延缓肿瘤生长。
Cetrimonium bromide (10-45 mg/kg，饮水中补充，一天一次，连续 1 年) 对大鼠有亚急性和慢性毒性。
