体内研究：

Alpha-Estradiol (17-alpha-estradiol，0.01，0.1，1 μg) 显著降低小鼠幼崽中央无血管/总视网膜区域的百分比。Alpha-Estradiol (1 μg) 在出生后第 9、13 和 17 天显著降低高氧暴露幼崽视网膜中的丙二醛 (MDA) 水平。Alpha-Estradiol (1 μg) 也减少幼崽视网膜中 NADPH 氧化酶阳性细胞的数量、NADPH 氧化酶浓度和活性。在 1.0 μg Alpha-Estradiol 处理的幼崽中，VEGF 视网膜浓度在 PND 9 时较高，但在 PND 14 和 17 时较低。1.0 μg Alpha-Estradiol 处理的幼崽在视网膜中的最佳效果在 PND 14 和 17 上被 ICI182780 部分逆转。
