产品描述：

易燃，低毒。无臭，味微甜而有甜涩味。有能溶于水，稍溶于醇，1g溶于1.8ml水、1.4ml沸水、约75ml乙醇、50ml混合液(47.5ml乙醇和3.7ml水)。水溶液对石蕊呈微碱性，pH约为8。半数致死量(大鼠，经口)4.07mg/kg。;

体内研究：

Sodium benzoate (125-500 ppm，饮食，8 周) 会影响小鼠的体重、食物摄入量、血脂状况以及肾脏和肝脏功能的生化指标。
Sodium benzoate (0-1000 mg/kg，口服，连续 90 天) 对雄性大鼠具有剂量依赖性的生殖毒性，会降低精子参数，改变血浆性激素水平。
