This compound blocks assembly of the eIF4F complex and inhibits cap-dependent translation.Application：4E1RCat was used to inhibit new protein synthesis in transformed primary chicken embryo fibroblasts.

体内研究：

4E1RCat (15 mg/kg，i.p.) 影响小鼠 Pten+/-Eμ-Myc 肿瘤的化学敏感性。4E1RCat (15 mg/kg，i.p.) 使 Pten+/-Eμ-Myc 和 Tsc2+/-Eμ-Myc 淋巴瘤对多柔比星 (Dxr) 的细胞毒性作用敏感，和 4E1RCat 以小鼠中的翻译为目标。
