体内研究：

N-dodecylimidazole 是一种 pKa 为 6.3 的酸活化洗涤剂，已被证明对培养的细胞具有细胞毒性。N-十二烷基咪唑显示出对 EMT-6 和 MGH U1 细胞的细胞外 pH (pHe) 依赖性细胞毒性。细胞杀伤具有剂量依赖性，在 pHe 6.0 时比在 pHe 7.0 时高 100 倍。
