水解涉及l -精氨酸或l -赖氨酸羧基的肽、酰胺和酯键。囊性纤维化患者血清中该酶和/或其酶原（胰蛋白酶原）升高。胰蛋白酶原有三种同种异构体：阳离子型（胰蛋白酶原1）、阴离子型（胰蛋白酶原2，分子量为22500）和中位胰蛋白酶原（胰蛋白酶原3，分子量为25000）。雅典研究技术公司纯化的胰蛋白酶为阳离子形式。活性：每毫克蛋白质2.5单位。一个单位定义为在200 mM Tris-HCl， pH 7.8, 20 mM CaCl2条件下，在25℃下每分钟水解1个n -苯甲酰- dl -精氨酸- pna的酶量。由组织制备，显示对HBsAg，抗hcv，抗hbc无反应，抗hiv 1和2通过fda要求的测试呈阴性。Hydrolyzes peptides, amides, and ester bonds involving the carboxyl groups of L-arginine or L-lysine. Increased serum values of this enzyme and/or its zymogen (trypsinogen) have been found in patients with cystic fibrosis. Trypsinogen has three isoforms: cationic (trypsinogen 1), anionic (trypsinogen 2, MW 22,500), and mesotrypsinogen (trypsinogen 3, MW, 25,000). The trypsin purified by Athens Research and Technology Inc. is the cationic form.Activity: 2.5 units per mg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that hydrolyzes one umole of N-benzoyl-DL-arginine-pNA per minute at 25oC in 200 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.8, with 20 mM CaCl2.
