有轻微的硫醇臭。微吸湿。水溶液在或50～60℃时相当稳定，但当有氢离子存在时，很快分解产生硫化氢。最大吸收波长(水中)210、261、318nm(logε3.66、4.08、1.8)。有毒，最小致死量(大鼠，经口)200mg/kg。经试验表明，对实验动物有潜在致癌作用。有刺激性。;Thioacetamide is a thiocarbonyl compound. It undergoes deuterium exchange reaction with D2O to afford N-dideuterated thioacetamide. Infrared spectral investigations of thioacetamide and its deuterated derivative (N-dideuterated thioacetamide) have been reported.Usually used as Hepatotoxin and carcinogen,and also used as an additive in enantioselective reduction of β-keto esters with immobilized baker′s yeast.
